This is a stationary folder set. I used a La-La Land Stamp, and colored her with Copics. The colors are: Hair is E13, Y21. Skin is E00-E02R20. The legs are highlighted with R000. Her hat is BG0, BG3. Flower on the hat is YR07 and Y17 with stickles. Her necklace is YR07 with stickles. Shoes are also YR07 with stickles. Her dress is G21, G24, YG63. I added a few pearls, ribbon and used the Nestabilities labels die cut. The contents inside are tags, memo pad, note cards with envelope and 2 heart boxes (not assembled). I'm entering this card into the Boy's Theme CMC Copic Challenge Group Contest. The text is made from some Just Rite letters (I love being able to make my own words). The ribbon is covering it, but it says, DINO * MITE.

Catered Crop Recipe Challenge

Here is my entry for the Catered Crop Recipe Challenge. The challenge was to use any technique from the spotted chicks winning challenge card. I was so inspired by the Spotted Chicks card, she did such a great job on the card. For my card I used DCWV Adhesive Paper for the cardstock. I added a bit of sheer shimmer spritz in sparkle. I added ribbon and the orange tabs are Kraftix Easy Paper Pinchers. The hello stamp is from amuse stamps. I used copics to color my girl and a bit of prismacolors for the grass. I used color box chalk to distress my scallop and memento ink in desert sand to ink around the image. My stamp is called you rock by Hero Arts. The oval and scallop oval are cut from nestabilities and the scallop border is from the stampin up punch (can't recall the name). The techniques I used from spotted chicks were the nestabilities, copics, chalking and prismacolors. Thanks for looking.

It's been awhile since I've been able to make a card, must less post a card, so it was fun to make these ones. For these cards I used the Stampin Around for the grass and colored it with chalk. For this card, I used Eskimo Kisses by Basic Gray paper. I used the DreamKuts from Michelle's Scrapbooking, to cut them for the perfect sizes. I used a sentiment stamp from Amuse. I added a snowflake stamp also from Amuse and sprinkled some embossing glitter. I cut a snowflake from a Marvy Punch and added a rhinestone heart. I distressed the edges and added ribbon. I made this card for the 365 Days Cards Candy Cane Challenge. In this challenge, you had to use red and white stripes somewhere on your card. I decided to use them on the snowmans hat and his candy canes. I used the stamp by Whiff of Joy and the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder from Simonsaysstamp.com that I won (read the previous post). A big thanks to Simonsaysstamp.com for the generous prize they sent me. Awhile back I sent a card to Jaimie, you can read the story here. This story really touched my heart. many companies stepped up to over some blog candy as a thanks to individuals sending cards to this young girl. As a result, I just happened to win a $25.00 gift certificate from Simonsaystamps.com and these are the goodies I picked from them. I will definitely shop with them again and encourage others to do so as well. They were extremely friendly and fast in sending my items. "Get Stitchy" Pixie Cottage Challenge 2 items

Wow, it's been a long time since I pulled out my sewing machine and now i know why. I need a lot of practice with this and next time will use a different stitch. I made 2 items for the "Get Stitchy" Challenge at Pixie Cottage. The first is a Santa Bag. I started with a red bag from Michael's and cut black and white paper and sewed around the black paper. Since my son thought this was a Pilgrim's hat for Thanksgiving, lol, I guess I need to clarify, this is suppose to be a Santa Suit. The next item for the challenge is a card. I used liquid applique for the snow on the house and tree. I added stickles, brads, ribbon and a Cuttlebug die. I colored it with Prisma Pencils and Copic Markers. Here is my posting for the Merry Christmas, Happy Winter Challenge #7. It's really just the card, but I couldn't resist making a matching gift to go with the card. This is a card and a recipe book or could use as a photo album, Christmas addresses, etc.. For this I used a 7 Gypsies Naked Binder Hand Bag and covered with paper. I added a Stampendous stamp and used Copic Markers and Prisma Colored Pencils. I added stickles and chalk. I made a charm with a Stampin Up Stamp and attached it to the ribbon. For the card I used 2 Stampin Up Stamps, distressing, ribbon, chalk, Prisma Colored Pencils, Copic Markers and added another matching charm to the card. I also popped out the mittens on the card to make it look 3-D. I think that was it. I had a lot of fun making this. I'm going to add a bit more decoration to the inside of the recipe book and add some family recipes to the binder. I'll be giving this as a gift for Christmas and making more to put in my Etsy Store. This was a fun box to make. This will hold light items, such as candy corn or mini candy bars. It started at 5 1/2" and was scored down. For this I used a MFT stamp for the girl and bunnies, I made her slippers 3-D. The sentiment is from A Muse. I used nestabilities for the ovals. I added stickles, distressing and ribbon. I colored her with Copic markers. The bottom of the card I used prisma colored pencils to make some grass. I used a gelly pen to color the bunnies since I had messed up and not put the bunnies on white paper. I added some soft pink chalk ink to soften the white cardstock.

For this I wanted to use some scraps of paper that I had, especially with orange since I never think of many reasons to use it. I used copic markers to color it nestabilities for the oval, old paper distressing to take away some of the stark white, ribbon and a Stampin Up Scallop. The stamp and sentiment are also Stampin Up. In case you can't read it the sentiment says, "your friendship is the most uplifting thing in my life without underwire!"

For this I used a clear stamp from a stamp set I believe by stampendous. I used Copic markers to color it. I added a thinking of you sentiment from a $1.00 Michaels stamp. I added ribbon and used a gel pen for the dots around the main image frame. I used the stampin up tool to create the scallop and the pink over top is embossed with the Swiss Duts Cuttlebug.

Here are to simple thank you cards I made. For the flower card, I used a stamp from SU. I added 2 brads, copic markers to color the stamp and ribbon. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder on the pink cardstock. You can't see it in the photo but I used the scor pal at the top where the ribbon is. For the card with the little girl, I used a Sarah Kay by Stampavie from Michelle's Scrapbooking. I used prismacolors and mineral spirits to color it. I added ribbon and brads. Happy New Year! I have wanted to make an word chipboard album for quite awhile, but didn't want to pick a long word in case I messed it up, therefore I chose "Reno" since we were there for Christmas. For this I used the Cricut Base Camp at 7" to make the letters, then traced them onto chipboard and covered in cardstock. I added ribbon, rhinestones, distressing. I used the Bind It All to bind it and I used the Cricut Paper Dolls at 3" for the trees on some of the pages. I made the border on each letter 1 1/2" on the left side for the binding, next time I will only use 1". TFL

I made this for a friends son who is turning 1. For the outside of the card I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the words around the frame of the card. I used mineral spirits and prismacolors to color the stamp. I added distressing, stickles and the balloon and streamer are from a cuttlebug embossing folder and die cut. I added SU Crystal Effects to winnie the pooh (might have to end up doing it to all the characters, I shouldn't of added it). The number 1 on the inside of the card is cut from the Cricut Celebrations cartridge at 2". I made a custom envelope and embossed it with a cuttlebug embossing folder. TFL

This is a layout for my son's upcoming 14th birthday. I used the Cricut Celebrations for the balloons at 2", 2 1/2" and 2 3/4". The scallop circle is a punch. I added ribbon and distressing. The 14 is from Celebrations at 2", I added stickles to it. The wish across the bottom is an embossing punch by around the world. It looks better in person than in the photo. TFL

For this I used Cricut MM at 4" for the scallop square. The tag is from Cricut BC at 1 1/2". I added stickles, prismcolors, mineral spirits, SU Crystal Effects, ribbon and distressing. The stamps are from the Anna Griffin line. As soon as I stamped it on the paper, I realized that I had used Staz On Ink for the sentiment and shouldn't of since it is thicker. Oh well, guess the other way to look at it is that I was emphasizing "A Wonderful Friend". TFL

You'd think I was getting a kickback from the company that makes Elzybells... NOT!!! Just love these stamps, they are so sweet. For this I used Cricut BB at 6" on card setting. I added pink cardstock inside the purse and used the Cuttlebug to emboss. TFL

Quite some time ago I bought a big set of stamps from HSN and finally am using them. Each stem, flower, etc. are individually stamped. I colored with pencils and stickles. The corners are from Jasmine at 2 1/2". The Thank You is from CTMH and the slider is from the Cuttlebug Slider Die Cut (thanks for the idea, Cammie).

I got the slider idea from Cammie's Blog. I used Jasmine at 2 1/2" for the corners. The stamps are all from the assortment I bought from HSN quite some time ago. I used distressing, ribbon and stickles. For the slider, I used the Cuttlebug Slider Die Cut. I also used the Cuttlebug Flower Embossing Folder on the brown paper. TFL
